Here’s a quick guide to help you through the identity verification process:

  1. Enter your personal details, including your name and address.
  2. Complete your ID verification by scanning your identification document and taking a selfie.
  3. Verify your phone number.
  4. In some cases, you may be asked to provide additional documents like a bank statement or utility bill for address verification.

To start the verification process, follow these steps:

Follow the instructions on the verification page. xbitu uses the Sumsub system for identity verification, which includes the following steps:

  1. From your dashboard, tap the “Verify Your Identity” button and then select “Continue” on the following screen.

         

  1. Document Upload: Upload clear, legible copies of government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license. Follow the prompts to scan or take a photo of your documents and securely upload them.

  2. Facial Verification: As part of the Sumsub process, you will need to complete a facial verification. This requires taking a selfie or recording a short video to match your face with the photo on your ID. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.

  3. Review and Submit: After entering your details and completing the document upload and facial verification, carefully review everything. Ensure that all the information matches your ID.

  4. Submit for Review: Once you’re confident all details are correct, click “Submit” or “Finish” to send your identity verification request. Your information will be securely processed by xbitu and Sumsub.

  5. Approval Process: xbitu typically completes identity verification within 15 minutes. However, it can take up to 24 business hours, depending on various factors. Please be patient while the process is completed.

During the verification process, xbitu and Sumsub will review the accuracy and authenticity of your submitted information and documents. They utilize advanced technology and manual checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a secure environment.
